TRAINING, LESSONS, & CLINICS

LESSONS AT TWISTED K RANCH

Learn on our horses in a supportive, hands-on environment at Twisted K Ranch. These lessons are offered as a weekly program with a minimum commitment of 8 weeks, giving riders the consistency they need to develop balance, feel, timing, and confidence.

We also offer specialty lesson packages built around specific themes and goals, including Introduction to Horsemanship courses and other focused programs.

TRAVEL LESSONS

We bring the instruction to you. Travel lessons are designed for clients who want to learn on their own horse, at their own facility.

Lessons are tailored to the needs of both horse and rider, with an emphasis on developing communication, feel, rhythm, and practical skills that you can continue to build on between lessons.

TRAVEL CLINICS

Have a group that wants to learn together? We travel to your location to provide small-group clinics designed around your group's interests and goals.

Clinics can focus on foundational horsemanship, riding skills, specific training challenges, or other areas you'd like to develop. Keeping groups small allows for individual attention while creating a fun and encouraging learning environment.

HAUL-IN LESSONS

Don't have an arena or round pen? A haul-in lesson is a great way to give your horse a chance to work in a new environment while receiving instruction.

Bring your horse to Twisted K Ranch and use our facility for a private lesson. Haul-in lessons can help horses become more adaptable and confident while giving riders the opportunity to work on their skills in a different setting. New in 2027, we will. have a new ranch trail course changed out monthly in our arena for those practicing for  AQHA or ARHA shows.

SHORT TERM BOARD/TRAIN COMBO BOOKED UNTIL SPRING 2027

Looking to send your horse out for some focused training while still being involved in their progress?

Our Board & Lesson Training Combo allows your horse to stay with us for a designated period while receiving professional training and refinement. One-on-one lessons are included in the package so you can learn how to communicate with your horse and continue the work once they return home.

This is a great option for owners who want their horse to receive consistent training while also developing their own skills and understanding.

RESIDENT BOARD/TRAIN COMBO- COMING APRIL 2027

For those looking for a longer-term option, our Resident Board & Training Combo combines boarding, professional training, facility use, and private instruction.

Horses who board at Twisted K Ranch have access to our facility and the benefit of having a trainer on site to work with them. Owners also receive one-on-one private lessons, allowing them to stay actively involved in their horse's development.

This program is designed to create consistency between horse, rider, and trainer while providing ongoing support as goals and skills develop.

RETIREMENT BOARD COMING APRIL 2027

When it's time for your horse to slow down, we offer retirement boarding for horses who have earned a comfortable place to enjoy their later years.

Our retirement board is focused on quality care, a safe environment, and the individual needs of each horse. Whether your horse is fully retired, needs a break from regular work, or simply needs a change in lifestyle, we strive to provide a peaceful and supportive home where they can enjoy their days.
