This is a youth clinic where students will be working on the ground to learn the basics of horse health, safety, handling, communication, grooming, care, equipment we use, lunging, and liberty work. There will be two demo horses for the group to practice exercises with hands on alongside a trainer and assistants for optimal learning.

Exercises will start on the ground and progress through riding. They are friendly enough for those new to the sport while informative enough for those looking to be a better horseman and mitigate errors that may be slowing you down.

Join us in a long weekend learning the fundamentals of horsemanship. We will be correcting rider seat and aids, controlling our horse's feet, getting a softer horse in the bit, getting our horse to look for queues, and practicing exercises on trail. Rider's need their own horse and both rider and horse should be able to walk and trot with confidence under saddle. If you have any questions please reach out.
